First Issue of New Man e-Magazine!
Welcome to the premier issue of the New Man e-Magazine! As you probably noticed, New Man has undergone several major changes in recent months. We’ve transitioned from print to online and we’re now replacing both the weekly New Man Report and our print magazine with the e-Magazine.
Is that confusing? Let me explain. The e-Magazine will combine the stories, columns and reviews familiar to readers of New Man’s print version with the blog, polls, timely commentary and ease of access of New Man’s online presence.
This is completely new to the industry. We’re going to deliver the closet thing to a print magazine directly to your inbox each week—at no cost.
But it isn’t a one-way street. We want to make every article a conversation, so we’re inviting you to share your thoughts by leaving comments. And we need your help with articles. If you have a story or teaching that has been burning in your heart, share it with us. It just might appear in a future e-Magazine issue.
Enjoy this first issue and send it along to a friend. We’re looking forward to broadening our scope with this new format and we’re excited about the journey ahead!

Congratulations on your new format.
It is well-done. It's now 4:00 a.m. and for an incurable insomniac, it's a God-send. While I miss my printed magazine, New Man, God can use this online version to bring news, views and interesting items to me.
I do have a story idea I've been working on for a while now. I had it almost ready to send to your editor for consideration when I learned you were going out of the printed media format. I still would love to have you consider it.
The working title is "In the Footprints of Giants." It's a look back at the experience of the missionaries who were slaughtered in Ecuador and the legacy it left Mission Aviation Fellowship, the organization that covers the globe with their humanitarian efforts.
My previous published works can be viewed at www.wingsandstars.com. I've been writing for the aviation community for many years, particulary promoting women in aviation careers. My heart is rooted in inspirational genre.
I also work well with editorial assignments; I work well with editors, meet deadlines and can warrant the quality of my work.
Keep on with bringing intersting and inspiring stories to your readers.
Regards,
Phyllis R. Moses

I appreciate the intense & commited work of New Man to turn the hearts of men back to God first. We need a President that will stand up for JUSTICE not fairness, standing firm w/o loosing his temper, resist raising taxes but cut out needless spending & Big Government handouts. It cost us 85 cents for the gov.to give away 15 cents.
I am excited that you're online and making this more interactive! Appreciate your hard work to make this happen. Great articles!

Hey, it's great to see response so quickly. We are excited with this new format and are watching for response.
Did you guys forward it to friends? We want to get thousands of new readers for our weekly eMagazines.

Likewise, congrats on embarking into a "brave new world". I will admit that I will miss the hardcopy edition of the magazine. While I consider myself to be techie, I did enjoy receiving the magazine in the mail and carrying it about. Of course, I can just print out what I want to from the e-zine. I'd just started getting New Man and was about to re-up for another year.
Regardless, I will be following the e-zine and contribute as I've done here.
Peace of Christ be with you all,

The new format will take some getting used to, but I will give it a valid effort. I will also forward the email to my men in my ministry.
I tried forwarding the first edition I received in my email the other day & it is hard to do - loses some of the graphics, etc. - can you make a place to forward it to your friends where they get it in the nice crisp form it comes to us in - just a suggestion. I want them to get the full impact. TIA
I am so excited for new man to be online.. I will enjoy tehe reading...
Congrats!!!
Bold move, but you are futuristic thinkers! The new format will reach thousands more than print, and more efficiently. It is easier sharing articles with others (now the whole mag) in soft copy.
I will pass this along to the men at my church.
Keep up the good work in the Lord!

I appreciate the move to the on line magazine, but I will continue to miss the paper copy of the magazine. With all due respect, I am a much bigger fan of New Man magazine than Charisma and feel that I got a bad deal on this transition. Full time portable on line access is available to some, but this vehicle is not as portable as a magazine. I for one am diappointed that as a long time subscriber to New Man, I lost my paper copy of the magazine with little or no explanation as to why.

I agree with Larry. I enjoyed the print version of the magazine, and felt cheated when I just renewed my subscription, but never received a print issue of New Man. Charisma just isn't the same as New Man, if I wanted to subscribe to it I would have. I understand the reasons for moving New Man online, but am disappointed with how the paying subscribers have been treated in the process.
I and my husband really miss the paper mag, because: it had great photos; we shared many articles with others, (especially my clients), it was easy to read, it was portable. I find the e-zine very difficult to read for very long (5 min.) and the articles I print out are very small print (same with Spirit Led Woman). I find myself just not willing to struggle this hard very often to read what were our favorite mags. And Charisma does not make up for them; we want nourishment, not a duplicate of "People" mag. for religious folk!
Sorry, but I've been needing to say this for awhile; just wanted to try out the new format before I expressed myself.
