Why Isn't Tom Brady Happy?
If any guy has a reason to be happy, it seems like it would be NFL star Tom Brady. The guy is living every man’s dream. With three Super Bowl rings and two Super Bowl MVP trophies, he’s arguably the best quarterback in the NFL.
And his conquests are not confined to the football field. After dating actress Bridget Moynahan he scooped up Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
So you can imagine my surprise when I viewed the clip below that seems to show unhappiness—even desperation—in the life of the all-star quarterback. Check it out and tell me what you think. To me it just shows that true fulfillment is never achieved through worldly success if Christ’s not part of the picture.

Incredible video. It's good to see someone of Tom's stature being honest about his discontentment, instead of continue to fabricate the idea that riches and popularity will satisfy.
Abba, send Tom your Holy Spirit that he may be convicted of sin and have an encounter wih Your kingdom. Show Him that You are what's missing in His life. God, encounter Tom Brady in power with signs, wonders and miracles.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Depression or feeling that there is something missing in high profile athletes isn't uncommon. In Australia, several of our best ever footballers across several different codes have suffered from it including Andrew Johns, arguably the greatest Rugby League player of all time who admitted to bipolar and illicit drug use last year. Another Wayne Schwass a great Australian Rules player now works with a charity called Beyond Blue.
Others don't really cope when they are out of the spotlight like Shane Warne, the greatest leg spinner of all time in cricket who behaves like an absolute goose off the field & Wayne Carey another Australian Rules footballer nicknamed the King who is in trouble over assault allegations on his girlfriend both locally & in the US. Both of these men have retired in recent years.
Wow! Just compare Tom Brady's sad demeanor and lostness with the unshakable joy and confident faith of Roger Roberts (in lead article)!
Christ makes all the difference!

Amen, Sam, Amen. Jesus - You are what is missing - pray make him see you and listen to your guidance!
Tom Brady should watch the Billy Graham TV Special "America's Dream: Chasing Happiness." It is absolutely true that nothing satisfies in this life except a relationship with Jesus.
I read your comments before I watched the video and thought "well, maybe he is a religious man, what do we know about his private life.
But then I watched the video and thought "no, someone who even remotely believes in God and/or "knows" Jesus, would never say what he said.
I must agree with you all that coming to God would let Tom find out the answers to his questions.
Who's willing to "be Jesus" to Tom Brady? Part of me wants to do this, but as a regular joe from California who has no ties whatsoever to the NFL or sports in general, I'm simply not in the position to do this… I can't imagine that of all the Athletes in Action folks out there, and the Christians on the gridiron who have access to Tom, that SOMEBODY can't share the Good News with Tom.
Who's up to the challenge?
Wow, this should really break all of our hearts. I just want to yell at my monitor "Tom, we know what you are looking for! We know what it is!" It really sounds like his heart is in the right place. We should all pray for him, that someone in his life will share the gospel with him. I'm gonna pray for him tonight.
